What Is a Gobo Projector?
A gobo projector uses a custom image carrier, called a gobo, to project a logo, sign, pattern or message onto a surface. The system combines the projector, lens and gobo artwork to create a fixed image without a digital screen.
Gobo projection is used for storefront branding, events, exhibitions, hospitality, architectural decoration, wayfinding and industrial safety. The correct configuration depends on projection distance, required image size, ambient light, surface color and texture, and whether the installation is indoors or outdoors.
